The Pub

The concept of "Fiddler's Green" supposingly originates in a legend of the 18th century. It described the fishermen's paradise at that time. As centuries passed it became a synonym for every idyllic place, a fisherman can retreat after a hard day's work. When Fiddler's Green Irish Pub opened for the first time in 1998, such a location became accessible for everyone, even though he might not be able to fish.

Fiddler's Green is open daily (May to September from 20:00, October to April from 19:00). It's divided up into two areas: The comfortable pub and the roomy Celtic Inn. In the pub, wood-plated walls and a great variety of decoration create the typical irish appearance and the comforable atmosphere. Nowhere else one can enjoy a pint of cold Guinness better!

In addition, the Celtic Inn is open on weekends: The roomy cellar-vault presents itself with an extra bar including service. Designed like a living room with fireplace, it doesn't lack homely atmosphere. Again and again, however, the basement turns into a wild place: Popular events like the Pub Quiz, various concerts or student-parties take place in regular intervals throughout the year. The Celtic Inn can be rented for private celebrations like birthday-parties etc. If your interested in renting the Celtic Inn for an evening, you can also write an [e-mail], of course.
